What began as a small, two-specialty practice has grown into the largest physician-owned medical group in the region, without ever losing sight of our mission: to provide high-quality, compassionate, and locally rooted care.
Humble Beginnings: A Two-Specialty Practice
In 2010, GI Associates and Hudson Valley Urology came together to form Premier Medical Group of the Hudson Valley. From this foundation, we have continually expanded, adding specialties and services to meet the evolving needs of our patients—always guided by a commitment to excellence and personalized care.
Growth Driven by Community Needs
Each year brought new milestones, reflecting both our growth and our responsiveness to the health needs of the Hudson Valley:
- 2010: GI Associates and Hudson Valley Urology came together to form Premier Medical Group of the Hudson Valley.
- 2013: New Century Medical Associates merges with Premier to create the Premier Internal Medicine Division. Premier Urology opens its Women’s Health Center.
- 2014: A new Rheumatology division opens at Premier.
- 2015: Our Podiatry division is added.
- 2016: Premier Urology launches the Advanced Prostate Cancer Program.
- 2017: The Premier Dermatology Division opens.
- 2019: Hudson Valley Cardiology joins Premier, creating the Premier Cardiology Division. A new Neurology division launches. Premier Urology opens a new, state-of-the-art facility at Eastdale in Poughkeepsie.
- 2020: A new multi-specialty location opens in New Windsor for Urology, Gastroenterology and Rheumatology. The Premier Gynecology Division launches.
- 2021: Premier opens a new Internal Medicine office in New Windsor. The Premier Medical Diabetes Management Program launches. A new state-of-the-art clinical lab opens at 82 Washington street.
- 2022: Premier Medical debuts the Endocrinology Division. Premier Podiatry opens a new office in Poughkeepsie.
- 2023: Premier Urology launches the Male Fertility Center. The Radiology suite at North Road opens.
- 2024: A new Internal Medicine location opens in Newburgh. Community Primary Care joins Premier, expanding patient access to care in the Hudson Valley. Plastic Surgeons of the Hudson Valley, led by Dr. Celestino Sepulveda, joins Premier Medical Group, establishing our Plastic Surgery Division.
Today, we are 99 providers strong across 14 specialties, supported by a dedicated team of 550 professionals. We offer a depth of care in both medical and surgical specialties in the fields of urology, gastroenterology, cardiology, rheumatology, neurology, podiatry, dermatology & plastic surgery, gynecology, and primary care, including pulmonology, endocrinology, nephrology, and family practice. With over 400,000 patient encounters annually, we are proud to be a trusted healthcare partner to thousands of families across the region.
