On June 9th, 2024, Community Primary Care officially joined Premier Medical Group.
“We are thrilled to welcome Community Primary Care to the Premier Medical Group family,” said Dr. Sunil Khurana, CEO of Premier Medical Group. “This alliance is a testament to our commitment to clinical excellence, patient-centric care, and community health. Together, we will enhance our services and promote healthy living in our community.”
Community Primary Care has been a part of the Hudson Valley community for over 20 years. Their team includes 14 highly qualified healthcare providers who specialize in all aspects of primary care, along with two Board-Certified Podiatrists.
The merger will combine the strengths and resources of both organizations, bringing exciting benefits and enhanced medical services for patients from Community Primary Care and Premier Medical Group alike. Patients from Community Primary Care will now have access to Premier’s advanced Radiology and Lab services, along with renowned specialists in Gastroenterology, Urology, Cardiology, Dermatology, Endocrinology, Neurology, Gynecology, and Rheumatology. Premier’s patients will also have the advantage of accessing a wider range of primary care providers, which will allow for greater access to quality care.
While there are a number of exciting changes that will result from this alliance, patients can be assured that these changes won’t disrupt their current care. Community Primary Care patients can continue to see the doctors and staff they know and trust. They will continue to operate during their set hours at the current Community Primary Care locations in Hopewell and Poughkeepsie. The Podiatry office will also remain at its primary location in Wappingers Falls. The contact numbers and appointment scheduling for both Community Primary Care and Premier Medical Group will also remain the same.
