Dr. Paul A. Pomerantz is a board certified urologist and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He obtained his medical degree from State University of New York Downstate Medical Center and completed his training in surgery and urology at Montefiore Hospital and Medical Center in the Bronx, NY. He has extensive experience in all aspects of urological care, including infectious, inflammatory and malignant conditions of the urinary tract and management of stone disease.

Dr. Pomerantz has served as Vice President of the Cornwall Hospital Staff and a member of the Medical Executive Committee.  He has also served on a number of Ad Hoc Advisory Committees of the St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital, on the boards of Orange County Citizens Foundation, Cubs Place, Jewish Federation of Orange County and was past President of Temple Beth Jacob in Newburgh. Dr. Pomerantz served the Newburgh community as a physician with Mid-Hudson Urological Associates for over 30 years before merging with Premier Medical Group in 2012.

Dr. Pomerantz was recently selected, by his peers in the medical community, to the prestigious 2016 Castle Connelly “Top Doctors” list.
