The Miles of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation was established in 2004 to fund support services— including Medical Gap Care Fund, Peer to Peer Program, complimentary services, scholarship fund, and financial support for medical and daily living needs— for people fighting breast cancer in the Hudson Valley. It raises money to fund its programs and grants via five major fundraisers throughout the year: the Community Breast Cancer Walk (October), Hoops for Hope Basketball Tournament (March), Family Fun Run (April), Annual Spring Brunch (May), Dragon Boat Race and Festival (July), and Goals for Hope Soccer Tournament (August).
