Premier is happy to announce that Dr. Neil Kocher has joined our Urology Division!
Dr. Kocher is a fellowship-trained urologist in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS). Dr. Kocher specializes in complex pelvic organ prolapse repair, including surgical reconstruction using minimally invasive and robotic-assisted techniques, as well as medical and surgical treatment for urinary incontinence, voiding dysfunction, pelvic floor disorders, and complications of vaginal surgery including mesh removal.
Dr. Kocher earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology summa cum laude with a minor in English at Wilkes University. He received his MD degree from Temple University School of Medicine and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his urology residency at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, where he received multiple teaching awards including the Arnold P. Gold Humanism Honor Society and Department of Surgery Resident Leadership Awards. Dr. Kocher then pursued a two-year accredited fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS) at the Cleveland Clinic Glickman Urological & Kidney Institute.
Dr. Kocher has authored over 25 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters, and presented at numerous national and international conferences on topics including management of vaginal mesh complications and treatment therapies for refractory overactive bladder.
